City Karateka for Asia Pacific Karate Championship

Mysore/Mysuru: Gandharvika Shastry, practising IMSKA Karate under Master N.G. Shivdas and Coach Prajwal in Mysuru, has won a gold Medal at the 27th All India Shitoryu Karate-Do Championship held at Kodava Samaja in Vijayanagar 1st Stage, Mysuru, from Aug. 23 to 25. She won the gold medal in Kumite (-48 kgs weight and 16-17 years age category).

With this win, she has now been selected to take part in the 16th Asia Pacific Shitoryu Karate-Do Championship scheduled to be held in Singapore from Nov. 27 to Dec. 2 this year.
