City swimmers excel in school games

Mysore/Mysuru: S. Samarth,  a student of Pramati Hill View Academy, secured third place in the recently held CBSE South Zone Swimming Championship-2025 at Millennium World School in Hassan. Participating in U-19 category, he won bronze medal in the 1500 mtrs freestyle.

Meanwhile, another student Prapanna Prabhu of Acharya Vidya Kula, won silver medal in the 200 mtrs breaststroke at the CISE Games and Sports 2025-26 Karnataka-Goa Regional Swimming Championship held at Vishwavidyapeeta School in Bengaluru. He has been selected to take part in CISE School Games National Swimming Championship. 

Both are practicing under K.S. Mahesha at Marlin Aquatic   Centre in Mysuru.
