Sir,

Even after days, months and maybe years, my complaint about the seeping manhole in our road, that is 11th Cross, 2nd Stage, Bogadi South, adjacent to CFTRI Layout, has not seen any remedial work whatsoever till now.

Hence, I am forwarding a photo to support my genuine complaint. We, occupants of the particular lane, are helpless!

From time immemorial, so to say, this open manhole located at a junction where three roads meet with houses adjacent has made walkers, two-wheeler riders and to some extent, four-wheel drivers too to slow down their movement. Pedestrians are forced to clutch their noses while the two-wheelers avoid the dirty water seeping out and those driving the four-wheelers slow down their vehicles lest the stinking water splash and dirty their vehicles.

It is a surprise as to how the people in the neighbourhood of this stinking manhole bear this?
