Conversion of Chamarajanagar-Tirupati Passenger into Mail/Express

Mysuru: Railway has decided to convert Train No. 56213/56214 Chamarajanagar-Tirupati-Chamarajanagar Fast Passenger into Mail/Express with change in Train No. as 16219/16220. There is no change in existing stoppages and train composition.  

The converted service commences with effect from Aug.22, 2017 from Chamarajanagar end and from Aug.23 from Tirupati end.

Accordingly, Train No. 16219 Chamarajanagar-Tirupati Express departs Chamarajanagar at 15:10 hrs., arrives/departs Nanjangud Town at 15:48/15:49 hrs., arrives/ departs Kadakola at 16:06/16:07 hrs., arrives/ departs Ashokapuram at 16:19/16:20 hrs., arrives/ departs Chamarajapuram at 16:26/16:27 hrs.   There is no change in timings from Mysuru to Chandragiri. The train arrives at Tirupati at 05:25 hrs.

In the return direction, there is no change in timings of Train No. 16220 Tirupati – Chamarajanagar Express from Tirupati to Nanjangud Town. The train arrives at Chamarajanagar at 12:20 hrs.

Permanent Augmentation

Railway has decided to permanently augment Train No. 19301 Indore – Yesvantpur Weekly Express with one AC 2-Tier coach with effect from Apr.23, 2017 and Train No. 19302 Yesvantpur- Indore Weekly Express with effect from Apr. 26.  Train No. 19301/19302, Indore-Yesvantpur-Indore Weekly Express will have the revised composition of two AC 2-tier coaches, four AC 3-tier coaches, seven second class sleeper coaches, four second class coaches and two luggage/generator/brake van.

Railway has decided to permanently augment Train No. 19332 Indore – Kochuveli Weekly Express with one AC 2-Tier coach with effect from Apr.25, 2017 and Train No. 19331 Kochuveli – Indore Weekly Express with effect from Apr. 28.  

Train No. 19332/19331, Indore- Kochuveli – Indore Weekly Express will have the revised composition of two AC 2-tier coaches, four AC 3-tier coaches, seven second class sleeper coaches, four second class coaches and two luggage/generator/brake van, according to a press release from Chief Public Relations Officer, South Western Railway, Hubballi.

    What about the charge? After converting mail/express the passengers has to pay higher amount, after some days you are converting super fast again sf charges will be charged, ultimately what is the benefits getting the passengers, except price hike.

      Since it is converted to mail/passenger train augument A/C coaches for better travel convienence to senior citizens visiting hill shrine
