Day-long career guidance programme held at JCAC

Mysore/Mysuru: Career Uttsav, a day-long career guidance programme, was held successfully at Jagannatha Centre for Art and Culture (JCAC) in Vijayanagar 1st Stage here yesterday. The day witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of over 1,650 students from various schools and colleges across Mysuru and surrounding places, who were accompanied by their parents and teachers.

The participants had the opportunity to interact directly with representatives of several top Universities, including Sapthagiri NPS University, RV University, ICFAI University, VIT University and Manipal Academy for Higher Education, among others.

The event featured six panel discussions covering a diverse range of career choices, including engineering, medical and healthcare, commerce and finance, law, business management, design and architecture.

The day culminated in a houseful session on ‘How to Score Well in Board Exams’ by K2 Learning Founder CA Sripal Jain, who provided essential motivation and inspiration to students and parents on preparing effectively for their upcoming board examinations.

The session also equipped students with tips and tricks to understand the pattern of questions and strategies to plan, prepare and perform in their exams within the allotted time.

The organisers expressed immense satisfaction with the event’s outcome, emphasising its role in helping students make informed decisions about their academic and future career prospects. The high attendance and active participation across all sessions underscore the need for such focused career guidance initiatives in region.
