The DC further said that the Police Department celebrate only on three occasions like Annual Police Sports Meet, Ayudha Puja and New Year, as during other festivals, the Police personnel would be busy providing security to the people so that they (people) celebrate the festivals peacefully. But the Mysuru Police cannot celebrate Ayudha Puja as they would be busy in providing security for Dasara which is the Naada Habba, he added.
