Dr. M.R. Ravi to continue as Chamarajanagar DC ?

February 17, 2021

Chamarajanagar: Just two days after it ordered the transfer of Chamarajanagar Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. M.R. Ravi, along with 41 other IAS officers, the State Government on Monday is said to have directed Dr. B.C. Sateesha, who was posted as the new Chamarajanagar DC, not to take charge.

Dr. Ravi, who took charge as Chamarajanagar DC just a year ago (Jan. 30, 2020), was transferred as the Additional Director of Sakala Mission at Bengaluru on Feb. 13.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the transfer order of Dr. M.R. Ravi is likely to be cancelled and a revised order asking him to continue as Chamarajanagar DC will most probably be issued, according to sources.
