Mysuru: Renowned Violin Maestro Dr. Mysore Manjunath has been elected as the National President of Sanskar Bharati in the National Convention held at Jaipur recently.
Distinguished artistes, musicians and literary personalities from different States participated in this meet.
Dr. Manjunath, an internationally acclaimed Violinist from Mysuru city, was unanimously chosen as the President of Sanskar Bharati, which is a premier organisation founded for the propagation of Indian Culture, Performing Arts, Fine Arts, Yoga and Literature. Dr Manjunath, who is considered as one of the brightest cultural faces of Karnataka and Indian Music, will be leading Sanskar Bharati which has more than one thousand branches all over the country.
Dr. Manjunath, who is currently in USA on a Violin Concert tour, is the first ever National President of Sanskar Bharati from South India.
Noted actor Nitish Bharadwaj of Krishna character fame in Doordarshan’s mega Mahabharat serial, eminent litterateur Dr. Hemalatha Mohan from Delhi, renowned artiste Ravindra Bharai from Rajasthan have been elected as Vice-Presidents while Ashvin Dalwi, famous Hindustani Sur bahar Musician as the Secretary of Sanskar Bharati.
