Sir,
The newly-started Mysuru – Chennai Express in the morning although helpful for early Bengaluru-goers, especially for reaching K.R. Puram and Whitefield, the time is too early.
Being a superfast train with electric loco, we expect it to take 2 hrs 30 minutes to reach Bengaluru. Now it is starting at 4.45 am, halting for 40-45 minutes at Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Station by reaching at 7.20 am. If it is started at 5.05 or 5.10 am, instead of spending 40 minutes waiting in KSR, it could reach like 7.45 am and leave for Chennai at 8 am. Most of the passengers who take it are Whitefield / K.R. Puram travellers who want to reach before 9, otherwise commuters can take subsequent trains Vishwamanava Express or Passenger.
Morning every minute counts and reaching Railway Station by 4.30 is very difficult. Special thanks to MP Pratap Simha, who initiated this train. A small change in timings could help a lot of people instead of wasting time at KSR. I hope this will be addressed shortly.
