Mysuru: Prof. Syed Shakeeb Ur Rahman, former Dean, VTU and former Principal of SJCE, has been elected as President of Muslim Educational Society (MES), Tilak Nagar,  at the 27th Annual General Body Meeting of the Society on Saturday. MES manages educational institutions from Primary to Degree-level. The other office-bearers are: Prof. Riyaz Ahmed  and Prof. M. Sana Ulla Khan, Vice-Presidents; Mohamed Khasim – Secretary; Dr. Nayeem Ulla Shariff – Joint Secretary and S. Moinuddin Pasha – Treasurer.
