Electrical contractor succumbs to injuries in hospital

Mysuru: An electrical contractor, who was inspecting the place to install electric meter, and sustained severe injuries after slipping and falling down at Jayanagar in city, died at a hospital here yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as Suresh (53), a resident of Alanahalli here.

On Monday, Suresh had gone to Jayanagar to inspect a place to install an electric meter to a house, where he slipped and fell down resulting in him sustaining severe injuries, it is learnt. As no one noticed him, Suresh was lying injured on the spot for about two hours when some residents noticed him and with the help of others shifted him to a hospital where he breathed his last after failing to respond to the treatment.

Meanwhile, Gagan, son of deceased Suresh, suspecting that his father had been murdered, has lodged a complaint at Ashokapuram Police Station.]
