Entrepreneur asks Banks to help Industries

Webinar for business community of Mysuru Zone held

Mysore/Mysuru: Kiran Bettadapura, an engineering entrepreneur, has asked banks to extend help to all the manufacturing and service sector units, particularly small scale sector which contributes a major share for the economic growth.

He was delivering the keynote address at a webinar for the business community of Mysuru Zone organised jointly by Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), Mysuru Zone, in association with Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) at a private hotel here on Sept. 10.

Bettadapura said in the wake of ban on import of Chinese products there is a need for substantial increase in domestic manufacturing as well as services sectors.

He also spoke on the opportunities for banks especially after lifting of lockdown and the entrepreneurs to try increase the margin through extra and special services to customers.

Immediate Past President of FKCCI Sudhakar S. Shetty spoke about the importance of webinar and said there was a demand to have such events in all districts. In fact, this has been one of the demands of entrepreneurs of Mysuru Zone including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), he added.Later, he also interacted with participants and promised to address their grievances.

MCCI President A.S.Satish, who presided over the function, thanked Sudhakar Shetty for organising such events through MCCI and sought his co-operation for the forthcoming events.

MCCI Honorary Secretary Shreeshail Ramannavar and Programme Co-ordinator M.C. Bhansali also spoke.
