Mysore/Mysuru: Akhila Bharata Sharana Sahitya Parishat, Mysuru City Unit, has organised a National-level seminar on ‘Desi Jnana Kayaka of 12th century, National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 and ‘Sharana Movement – A National Movement’ on Mar. 11 (tomorrow) at Navajyothi Auditorium, JSS Women’s College, Saraswathipuram in the city.

M.G. Sadanandaiah, President of Sharana Sahitya Parishat, Mysuru City Unit, told media persons at Patrakarthara Bhavana here on Wednesday, that Senior Pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) S. Ramanna will inaugurate the seminar and speak on the topic ‘Rashtriyathe – Prasthutathe’ (Nationalism – Relevance), at 10.30 am on that day.

Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion.

Later, Dr. R. Balasubramaniam, Member (Human Resources), Capacity Building Commission, will chair the sessions.

Former MLC Arun Shahapur and theatre person H. S. Umesh will speak on ‘Desi Jnana Kayaka of 12th Century’ and ‘National Education Policy-2020’ while litterateur Dr. B.V. Vasanth Kumar will speak on ‘Sharana Movement – A National  Movement.’

Former MLC Thontadarya and Doctor Dr. Kamala Kumari are the endowment donors of the seminar.
