Mysuru: Builders’ Association of India (BAI), Mysore Centre, celebrated Builders’ Day with the theme ‘Building India’ at a function organised at Country Inn and Suites, Mysuru.

Ashish Puravankara, Managing Director, Puravankara Limited, was the chief guest. S.R. Swamy, State Chairman, BAI, Karnataka, was the guest of honour. Ashish Puravankara, speaking at the function, narrated the success story of the Puravankara Group and also emphasised on mechanisation in construction for quality delivery of homes to the clients.

On the occasion, Builder of the Year Award for 2017 was presented to N.P. Vishwanath and Member Extraordinaire-2017 was awarded to the senior BAI member C. Vishwanathaiah.

Chairman of the BAI Mysore Centre S. Mahadevswamy presided over the celebrations. The celebrations concluded with in- house entertainment programmes.
