Mysuru: Renowned Co-operator and ‘Sahakara Ratna’ awardee Lalitha G.T. Devegowda will be feted at the ‘Lalithabhinandana’ felicitation programme organised at KSOU Convocation Hall in Muktagangothri campus on Hunsur Road at 10 am tomorrow (June 12).

Addressing a press meet here yesterday, Lalitha G.T. Devegowda Felicitation Committee Vice-President M.N. Nataraj said that Lalitha G.T. Devegowda, wife of Chamundeshwari MLA G.T. Devegowda, was recently bestowed with the prestigious ‘Sahakara Ratna’ State-level award by the Karnataka Government in recognition of her services to the Co-operative sector. The Committee is felicitating her for her achievements, he noted.

“Adichunchanagiri Mutt Seer Dr. Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji, Mysuru Ramakrishna Ashram Head Swami Muktidanandaji and Pandavapura Bebi Mutt Seer Sri Trinetra Mahanta Shivayogi Swamji will grace the occasion. State Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh will preside. Orator Prof. M. Krishnegowda will deliver the felicitation address. Former University of Mysore and KSOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.S. Rangappa will release a booklet on the occasion. Film producer Ahwini Puneeth Rajkumar and noted Agripreneur Kavita Mishra will be the chief guests,”  Nataraj explained.

The event will also feature ‘Nrutya Sanbhrama,’ a dance performance by renowned dancer duo — Karnataka Kalashri, Nrutya Choodamani Nirupama and Rajendra — and team.
