Lalbagh flower show to be named after ‘Power Star’

Bengaluru: Horticulture Department will be organising flower show at various places across the State including Lalbagh.

Disclosing this to press persons yesterday, Horticulture Minister Munirathna said that flower show was not organised since 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic and this time flower show will be organised at Lalbagh in the name of late actor ‘Power Star’ Puneeth Rajkumar that will feature flowers from different countries as well.

“The flower show this time will be held from August 5 to 15. The show will inaugurated by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. The residence of the late actor Dr. Rajkumar, at Gajanur will be decorated specially this year,” he added.

Visitors will have to follow COVID precautionary measures as the pandemic is still playing hide and seek, the Minister informed.
