Mysuru:  The MCC Zone-5 officials, following several complaints from the public undertook a drive on Sri Yoganarasimhaswamy Temple Main Road in Vijayanagar and demolished nearly 10 petty shops that had encroached the footpath this morning.

Zonal Officer Nagaraju, along with the Developmental Officer, Works Inspectors and Abhaya team conducted the drive from 9 am and cleared the footpaths. Vijayanagar Police provided security during the drive.
