Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda and his wife Channamma visited the Adichunchanagiri Mutt in Nagamangala taluk and offered special pujas at Sri Kalabhairaveshwara Temple. The couple, who were recieved by Sri Niramalanandanatha Swamiji, offered Panchamruthaabhisheka, Bhasmabhisheka, Bilwabhisheka, Pushpabhisheka and other pujas. Later, they also offered special pujas to the gadduge of Sri Balagangadharanatha Swamiji. MLC K.T. Srikantegowda, Mutt Secretary Prasannanathaswamiji, Hassan Branch Mutt Seer Sri Shambunathaswamiji and others were present.
