Four-day Basavanna Vachana programme from Apr. 23

Mysuru: To create awareness among youth on cultural greatness of Vachanas of Basavanna, Basava Tathva Prachara Prathishtana has organised   various cultural programmes from Apr. 23 to 26 at Kalamandira here.

Addressing a press meet at Pathrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, Basava Channel Director E. Krishnappa said that the programme would also be filmed on the spot. He further said that those interested to participate in the event can present Vachana Gayana, Nrithya, dance-drama and related programmes.

He added that the event has been organised since the last eight months throughout the State with overwhelming response in North Karnataka.
