Four nabbed for drug peddling

Mysuru – Continuing their drive against narcotics and  drugs, the  CCB Police on Friday arrested four persons on charges of drug peddling.

The arrested have been identified as Raja, 28, of Harohalli in Kanakapura Taluk, Vishwanath, 44, of Kengeri in Bengaluru, Abdul Razak, 51, of Ooty and Fairoz Khan, 46, a resident of Mohammad Sait Block in Lashkar Mohalla.

Acting on a tip off, the Police arrested the four when they were trying to sell drugs on Good Shepard Convent Road in Lashkar Police Station  limits yesterday morning.

The Police have recovered brown-sugar worth about Rs. 3 lakh from them, it is learnt.

The Lashkar Police have registered a case in this regard and are investigating.
