Sir,

Reading the report about felling of over 40 old trees with rich foliage by Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) on Hyder Ali Road, I went to see the crime spot.

To my surprise, there were a few cars parked with occupants looking at the scorched earth. I asked, what were they doing. Pat came the answer: We have come for the funeral and to pay our last respects.  Om Shanti.
