In a bid to get a headstart for poll campaign for Gundlupet by-poll, Dr. Geetha Mahadevaprasad, Congress candidate and wife of late Minister H.S. Mahadevaprasad, launched door-to-door campaign in several villages  in the constituency yesterday.

Dr. Geetha, who undertook campaign at Vadeyanapaura, Ankalli, Bachalli, Shetalli and Kebbepura coming under Terakanambi ZP, reminded the voters of the measures taken by her husband for their allround development and appealed the voters to cast their votes in her favour, in order to carry forward her late husband’s developmental agenda.

She also promised the electorate that she will work to the best of her ability to ensure that the taluk becomes a development model for the entire State.
