Mysuru: The rear wheel of a goods vehicle got stuck in a trench due to shabby works near ESI dispensary behind LIC office this morning.

A trench was dug yesterday to lay pipes during which a water pipeline was damaged. But instead of rectifying the damage, the workers closed the trench with mud.

This morning, when the water was released, it began to leak which had softened the mud. A goods vehicle (KA-09-A-7351) carrying scrap materials moved over the trench and its rear left side wheel got stuck in the trench. Due to the incident, traffic on the  busy road was disrupted.
