H.D. Kote TMC Officer suspended for irregularities

H.D. Kote: H.D. Kote Town Municipal Council (TMC) Executive Officer Ashok has been suspended for irregularities that he allegedly committed when he served as T. Narasipur TMC Executive Officer previously.

Ashok is accused of illegal Khata registration of Government lands coming under different survey Nos. at T. Narasipur to private parties, when he was serving at T. Narasipur TMC earlier. Ashok is also accused of causing financial losses to the Government in the tender for repair of water pumping motors, failure to safeguard a prime Government land in Ward. 17 of T. Narasipur town and dereliction of duty in respect of formation and distribution of sites to beneficiaries at Byrapura in the taluk, among others. As the charges against Ashok are found to be prima facie true, the Director of Municipal Administration has ordered Ashok’s suspension, it is learnt.
