House burgled at Dattagalli: Valuables and Rs.50,000 cash stolen

Mysuru:  Burglars, who gained entry into a house at Dattagalli 3rd Stage by removing the iron rods of the window, have decamped with about 20 grams gold ornaments, Rs.50,000 cash, silk sarees, LED TV, mobile phone and other items from the house.

The burglary took place at the house of one Venkatesh. He along with his family members had gone to a relative’s house on Friday to celebrate Varamahalakshmi festival on Friday, when the burglary took place and the incident came to  light yesterday.

Burglars, who had gained entry into the house, have ransacked the almirah besides searching the bags and grocery containers for valuables. Kuvempunagar Police, who rushed to the spot, inspected the place and have registered a case.
