House burgled at Vijayanagar

Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into a house at Vijayanagar, have decamped with gold, silver and foreign currencies worth Rs. 7 lakh from the house. The burglary took place at the house of Vishwanath Ravindran, an employee of a private company in Bengaluru.

On May 21, Vishwanath couple had gone to Singapore on a trip and returned on May 25 only to find the house burgled.

The burglars, who had gained entry into the house by forcibly opening the door, have made away with 60 grams gold ornaments worth Rs. 5 lakh, 3 kg silver articles worth Rs. 2 lakh and 500 US dollars.

Based on the complaint from Vishwanath, Vijayanagar Police have registered a case and                         are investigating.
