House burgled at Shanthinagar

Mysuru: House burglars, who broke into a house in Shanthinagar here, have decamped with gold ornaments weighing about 84 grams and worth about Rs. 1.40 lakh kept in the house.

The burglary took place in the house of Khaleel Ahmed.

Khaleel had gone to his relative’s house along with his family members. The incident came to light when he returned on Sept. 3 at about 12 noon and found the front door broken.

On inspecting the house, Khaleel found the gold ornaments kept in the house missing and immediately lodged a complaint at Udayagiri  Police Station.
