I.S. Subramanya (64), a BJP leader and a resident of Kampalapura in the taluk, passed away yesterday at a private hospital in Mysuru.

A native of Dakshina Kannada, he was an active RSS activist and was a hotelier. He leaves behind his wife, two daughters, one son and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the family’s farm, according to family sources.
