Inoculation for sportspersons

Bengaluru: The State Government has requested all sportspersons in the age group of 18 to 44 years to register their names at the offices of Youth Empowerment and Sports for free vaccination.

Minister for Youth Empowerment and Sports, K.C. Narayanagowda, launched the drive at Sree Kanteerava Stadium here yesterday. Vaccination was done for players of Basketball, Fencing, Swimming, Hockey, Tennikoit, Badminton, Rowing and Netball. 

Today, Shooting, Handball, Football, Athletics, Table Tennis, Volleyball and Roller Skating players will receive the jab. Other sportspersons will be vaccinated in the coming days.
