Mysuru:  Beyond Taalas and Mid Studios, in association with Forum Centre City, celebrated International Women’s Day on Mar.8 and 9 at Forum Centre here.

The event held to recognise women achievers from various fields in city and honour them, was organised by Pooja Joshi, Dr. Sridevi Kulenur, Shomika Rao and was hosted by RJ Bhavana.

Woman achievers, who were honoured are; Ambika (Kannada Teacher and Writer), Gayathri (Hospital staff), Pushpalatha (Sportsperson), Shakila (Helper), Renuka Parlour (Special Award), Uma (Stenographer), Pragathi (Employee at Kalisu Foundation), Shivammani (Theatre artiste), Geetha (Traffic Police), Sushma (a worker at Chiguru Ashrama) and Meenakshamma (Labourer).

While Dr. Sridevi Kulenur rendered a song, Beyond Taalas presented a dance.
