Jan. 30 to be observed as Black Day

Gandhi Parishat, Janandolanagala Maha Maithri (JMM) and the Federation of Progressive Organisations  are jointly observing Jan. 30 as a ‘Black Day’ by unveiling the ugly face of Nathuram Godse,  who had killed Mahatma Gandhi, at a function to be held at Kalamandira in city at 10 am.

Prior to this, about 200 children will garland the bust of Mahatma Gandhi in front of City Law Courts Complex at                                           8.30 am followed by a procession to Kalamandira.  Drawing and quiz competitions will be held. A short film contest on Gandhiji will also be held, according to a press release.
