Kala Pratibhotsava

In order to unearth talent among children and youth and encourage them further, the Department of Kannada & Culture will be conducting a 2-day ‘Kala Pratibhotsava’ event at Mini Theatre in Kalamandira premises on Hunsur Road in city on Dec. 10 and 11. Contests will be held in three categories: Bala Pratibhe, Kishora Pratibhe                                           and Yuva Pratibhe.  Bala Pratibhe and Kishora Pratibhe features solo competitions in classical dance, sugama sangeetha, painting, folk songs, Karnatak/ Hindustani instrumental/ vocal music.

Yuva Pratibhe features solo competitions in elocution, classical dance, sugama sangeetha, painting, Karnatak/ Hindustani instrumental/ vocal music and group competition in drama. Those who have already applied for the competitions are asked to register their names, along with necessary documents, at Mini Theatre on Dec. 10 at 9.30 am.
