Senior Theatre Director Prasanna to get Lifetime Achievement Award; Mandya Ramesh among 25 awardees
Bengaluru: The Karnataka Nataka Academy on Monday announced the list of 25 achievers for the Annual Nataka Academy Awards and four eminent personalities for Endowment Awards. The awards will be presented during a function to be held in February, 2018.
The prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, with a purse of Rs. 50,000 and a citation, will be conferred on renowned theatre personality Prasanna of Heggodu, who is also the former Director of Rangayana in Mysuru.

Ramachandraiah Memorial Endowment Award: Mayigaiah (Make-up Artiste), Bhadravathi.
While the Nataka Academy Awards carry a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 each, the Endowment Awards carry Rs.5,000 each.
EMPLOYEES NOT HAPPY
Meanwhile, a few employees of the Academy have expre- ssed displeasure as the name of one K. Revanna, who has been working as peon in the Academy for the past two decades, has found place in the list while there were more deserving ones.
