KEA Chairman condemns Congress Spokesperson’s charge against MP

May 27, 2021

Mysore/Mysuru: Strongly condemning KPCC Spokesperson M. Lakshmana’s charge that Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha had turned against Mysuru Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri as she ordered shutting down of private COVID Care Centres, Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) Chairman Hemanth Kumar Gowda said that Lakshmana has made such allegations, unable to tolerate the MP’s hard work in these trying times.

In a press statement, Hemanth Kumar Gowda said that the MP, though himself had tested positive for the deadly COVID-19 contagion, has been working hard for ensuring medical help to all the infected after coming out of  home isolation.

Accusing the Congress of playing politics by not coming to the help of the infected through confidence-building measures, he said that the people of the State will teach a lesson to the Congress when the time comes.
