Mysore/Mysuru: Defending Champions Mysore Warriors will start their title defence at this year’s KSCA Maharaja Trophy T20 Tournament 2025 facing last year’s runner-up Bengaluru Blasters in their first match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Aug. 11. While, Gulbarga Mystics will take on Mangaluru Dragons in this year’s opening match, Mysore Warriors will start their campaign through the second match of the tournament.

The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) announced the schedule for this year’s tournament yesterday. While the league matches will be held till Aug. 25, the play-offs will begin from Qualifier I and Eliminator on Aug. 26 followed by Qualifier II on Aug. 27 and Finals on Aug. 28.

This year the tournament will feature star players such as Karun Nair, Manish Pandey and Prasidh Krishna (Mysore Warriors), Mayank Agarwal (Bengaluru Blasters), Devdutt Padikkal and Abhinav Manohar (Hubli Tigers), Shreyas Gopal (Mangaluru Dragons), Vyshak Vijaykumar (Gulbarga Mystics) and Vasuki Koushik and Vidwath Kaverappa (Shivamogga Lions).  

First match of the day commences at 3.15 pm, second match will begin from 7.15 pm. Matches will be telecast live on Star Sports 1 English, Star Sports 1 Kannada and FanCode.

However, no spectators are allowed inside the Stadium.
