KSRTC Mysuru Division awaits guidelines to operate inter-State buses

August 26, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysuru Division of KSRTC was waiting for the guidelines from its Central Office to resume inter-State bus services which were suspended a few months ago due to Covid-19.

According to officials, the Division was operating around 75 buses to several cities in neighbouring Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra. However, it was suspended following the outbreak of Coronavirus which forced the Government of Karnataka to stop operation of buses. Now, the Government was planning to resume inter-State services to                                                         mobilise resources.

“We are making preparation and ready to operate the buses once we get green signal from our Central Office,” said an official.
