Mysore/Mysuru: Surabhi Gana Kala Mandira is presenting a unique Lecture – Demonstration ‘Varna Vaibhava’ on Sunday (June 5) at 9.30 am at K. Vasudevacharya Bhavan, JLB Road.

The main intention of the programme is to throw light on different aspects of Varna (a major form of Karnatak Classical Music)  such as the different  types of Varna, the correct way of practising Varna, the advantages of learning it, improving Manodharma Sangeetha through Varna and so on. These will be handled by four budding performers of ‘Surabhi’ — Sangeetha Dilip, Medha Manjunath, Harini Ramesh and Madhuri Koushik.

The upcoming musicians of Mysuru may attend this programme.
