Leopard cub found in Sugarcane field

February 1, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: Even as the Forest department is struggling to prevent wild animals from entering human habitats, a leopard cub was found at a Sugarcane field at Mirle in K.R. Nagar taluk of the district.

The one-month old male cub was spotted in the Sugarcane field of one Santosh at Mirle village when workers were engaged in cutting the crop on Friday morning.

The villagers who rushed to the spot, caressed the cub and handed it over to the Forest department, it is learnt.
