Sir,

I wish to express my concern over the proposal to rename KRS Road in Mysuru as ‘Siddaramaiah Arogya Marga.’ The road is currently named after Princess Krishnajammanni and the PKTB Sanatorium, is located on this road. The hospital was built in her memory as the Princess and her three daughters passed away due to the killer tuberculosis disease. This hospital has served the people for generations.

I humbly request the authorities to reconsider this  proposal and preserve the historical significance of the Road. Let us honour the legacy of those who have genuinely contributed to the welfare of our society.
