Mafia is ruling Karnataka; PM Modi

February 5, 2018

Bengaluru: Setting the tempo for the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) poll campaign in Karnataka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday remarked that the countdown had begun for the ruling Congress in the State that it was already at the exit gate.

Addressing a huge rally at the Palace Grounds here to mark the culmination of the BJP’s 85-day Parivartana Yatra yesterday, Modi said very soon, Karnataka will be free from Congress as well as its culture, besides corruption and crime.

Launching a tirade against the Congress Government, Modi alleged that the rule of criminals was ruling the roost in Karnataka than that of law. The administration was dominated by sand mafia, transfer mafia and builder mafia, he said and added that scams and mafia have a free run here.

Accusing the Siddharamaiah Government of failing to maintain Law and Order, Modi expressing concern over the murder of several BJP workers under Congress rule, said that when the entire world was talking about the ease of doing business, the Karnataka Government focused on the ease of committing murders.

Exhorting the voters to ensure a ‘Congress-Mukt’ Karnataka, the PM said the Congress Government in the State had failed to reach the benefits to the aam aadmi.

Accusing the Congress Government of indulging in corruption, Modi said “I have been told that the Karnataka Government is a 10 percent commission Government as 10 percent commission was being demanded for all works.”

Alleging that the State Government was taking corruption to a new level, he also accused it of blocking implementation of Central Schemes.

Pointing out that the Central Government had initiated ‘Housing for all’ scheme by 2022, Modi said Karnataka has been allotted 3.36 lakh houses for the poor under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, but the State Government had constructed only 38,000 houses.

Accusing the Congress of working backwards, he said “When the BJP is working towards taking the nation forward, here in Karnataka the Ganga is flowing backwards.”

A huge crowd gathered at the Palace Grounds in Bengaluru for the rally addressed by PM Modi yesterday

Asserting that the BJP always stood for the welfare of farmers, he said the BJP has given ‘TOP’ priority to farmers, while explaining that ‘TOP’ meant Tomato, Onion and Potato.

The PM said the Centre would back State BJP President B.S Yeddyurappa’s promise that Rs. 1 lakh crore would be earmarked for irrigation projects if the party comes to power, thus hinting that B.S. Yeddyurappa would be the next Chief Minister of the State.

“With the strength of the Centre and the BJP Government here, we can bring water to the fields of Karnataka”, he said and added that the two Governments could help in multiplying the developmental impact in the State.

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi not only spoke in Kannada but also tried to invoke Kannada and regional Pride by referring to icons of Karnataka.

Soon after his initial greetings in Kannada at the rally, Modi referred to Karnataka as the land of Nadaprabu Kempegowda, Basaveshwara, Madara Chennaiah, Kittur Rani Chennamma, Sangolli Rayanna and Sir M. Visvesvaraya.

The PM switched to Kannada for the closing remarks too. He expressed confidence that Lotus would bloom in Karnataka in the forth coming Assembly polls.

He also referred to Bengaluru resident and cricketer Rahul Dravid’s contribution as the coach in the victory of the Under-19 cricket team in the World Championship.

According to political circles, Modi invoking Kannada pride was a counter to the Congress pitch to evoke the Kannada pride on the primacy for Kannada and State flag issues.

Interestingly, Modi greeted everyone on the dais by taking their names.

SMK gets prominence

Former Chief Minister S.M. Krishna (SMK), who joined the BJP last year, made an appearance at the Modi rally    and was given a front row seat on the dais.

Krishna, also a former Union Minister in the UPA Government, has not been much visible at BJP forums ever since he joined the BJP.

Although Krishna attended the rally, he did not address the crowd.

BJP General Secretary Aravind Limbavali explained that the senior leader was unwell and suffered from a bad throat.

Modi was seen warmly greeting Krishna as soon as he arrived and also greeted him when he left the venue.

Former PM Deve Gowda watches PM’s speech from Shravanabelagola

Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the BJP rally at the Palace Grounds in Bengaluru, former PM and JD(S) supremo H.D. Deve Gowda heard the Prime Minister’s speech on his cell phone, sitting at Shravanabelagola in Hassan District, where the Bahubali Mastabhishekha is scheduled to commence from Feb. 7.

Mafia was ruling the nation for a decade! Now they are limited ofa few states and Karnataka is one of them!

  2. Shoaib Mohammed says:

How ironic is his statement. All he has to to do is look into the current BJP ruled states like UP, Bihar, Gujarat, Rahasthan, Haryana, MP. The crime rate in Karnataka is far less than any of these states. Our state’s health index, education, economy, female to male ratio, child mortality, schools, colleges, employment rate etc, is there one factor which his BJP ruled states can beat Karnataka? NO. He has no right to insult our state and term our Government as a Mafia. He didn’t even utter “Gujarat Model” in his rally, which proves how messed up his home state is. BJP barely managed to win the Assembly polls in Gujarat.
He talks about corruption when his own party is filled with corrupt ministers. So far not even a single Congress leader is arrested for corruption. Black money is still in foreign banks. Inflation is at highest level. GDP is still recovering from Demonetisation. Youth are still jobless. Pakora Economy is being justified by the PM and his Lieutenant Amit Shah. RAFALE deal is confidential but BOFORS is not. He is still mute on all the lynchings in the country. He has not had a single Joint Press Conference for almost 4 years.
First he has to cleanse his own BJP ruled states and talk about states like Karnataka. This only shows how desperate he is to win Karnataka and it cannot be more ironic than him accusing our CM Siddharamaiah of corruption and simultaneously appointing BS Yeddiyurappas as the CM candidate.
    Jai Karnataka, Jain Hind…

    Indians can tolerate
    500 years Muslim rule
    200 years British rule
    60 years Family rule
    10 years Italian lady rule
But not 3 years of Hindu rule?😬

GOD SAVE OUR INDIA, CA Vinod Arya

If Modi fails in his fight againt corruption and black money, no PM of India will have the courage to take this issue again on his agenda for next 100 years and corrupt politicians, beaurocrates, police, criminals and businessman will keep looting this country as their birth right. So it is the duty of every resposible citizen to stand in support of PM Modi and fail the evil design of corrupt people to incite violence and create anarchy.
If we fail to do our duty today, our children and grandchildren will never forgive us, will hold us responsible for not giving them a clean India. If you agree, please send this message to all your contacts.
I am *NOT in Politics* and as of now, I have *no plans to get into Politics*, but there will be people who may consider this post to be Politically motivated. My *Humble apologies in advance.*

I was wondering why are so many people against our *Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi*. I noticed that this started after *Demonetization* and keeping that in mind, I was thinking who could be *people who will be affected by Demonetization*.
I was shocked to discover that here are following categories of people who will feel the impact more than anyone –
*1. Educational Institutions* – They used to get all Capitation fee in cash and most of it unaccounted.
*2. Terrorist Organisation* – Their Funding is under stress
*3. Fake Currency Dealers* – With stress on Digital Economy, they are under Major Stress
*4. Real Estate Mafia* – We all know that a Big Part of payment had to be made in Cash and now they find it difficult to account for unaccounted cash
*5. Hawala Dealers* – With almost all the money in account and a close watch on withdrawals, *they won’t mind killing Modi*
*6. Fake Trusts and Charities* – They have been used for Money laundering and with the stopping of large donations by cash, they are unable to fulfill their primary agenda
*7. Politicians* – Less said, better it is. Just look at almost NIL SCAM in last 3+ years is a Proof that many Politicians including BJP members are unhappy with Modi. They expected Modi to be like earlier Prime Ministers and close his eyes.
*8. Rich Agriculture Land Owners* – With most of the subsidy connected to Bank accounts, they are getting exposed.
*9. Film industry* – It’s a well known fact that it uses a lot of Black Money and except for Genuine Film makers, others are suffering.
*10. Sports & Other kind of Betting* – We know that gambling (Except Lottery) is banned and still there was a *turnover of USD 150 Billion*.
Please understand that *these industries employ some of the Most Brilliant minds* in the country and they will leave no stone unturned to make sure that Modi does not get a second term.
In this organized effort, even 4 judges appointed by Sonia revolted trying to discredit the Supreme Court Chief Justice
Now it’s for us, *as responsible citizens, to decide whether we want to support the above 10 Categories of people or to support ourselves*.

  4. syed matheen says:

    Yeah Dear Raju,

All of them converted their black into white by various means, so was there any objective achieved by doing this hectic exercise ?

12 lakh people lost their jobs.
More than 2 lakh small firms closed down their operations
More than 100 people were dead.
Huge time was wasted in standing lines no rich politician nor any business tycoon went to banks, it was all common people who lost their daily wages and stood in line for days, hours
Approximate 48000 cr was lost for printing and logistics of new notes.
whole automobile, real estate, construction was totally collapsed, just imagine how many people associated with this industries suffered

Ok, still it is fine if we achieve something out of it.
But nothing was achieved the results were 0, if fact some companies like paytym n all looting.
Only God knows who gets kickbacks from this companies now !!

    • Sunil says:

It is so funny! We’re the lost jobs related to hawala business or real estate black market!? Does that mean they had a job before? If your job is dependent on black money circulation or something illegal or illegitimate, then that job loss is good! Just yesterday somebody quoted that 60 crores people are unhappy with Modi’s tax policy changes! Guess what! There are only 3 crores tax payers in india! So, where did the other unhappy people came from! Are they unhappy about those 3 crore tax payers?
One thing is very clear! While congress and allow their supporters are missing power and have lost their income and hood life they used to enjoy, they wanted to get back by any means! As mr Raju quoted, they leave no stone unturned!I am not even surprised those 4 rebel judges may take up cases against Modi and Hang Modi at the behest of our crown prince and his family!
While, Modi is sure this is his last term, he wants to do maximum impact during the days if power! He does not seem to care about the baseless and manufactured protests of his opponents who mostly comprise of the beneficiaries of the corruption!
One thing is certain! Last decade we say over 100 scams in one year! When Congress will come back to power, the same gang who ruled us or 6 decades by corruption will get a lot more organized And all the Noble souls who feel that “their demicracy ” is threatened will get very happy and enjoy thier life!

  5. syed matheen says:

It is called as Informal jobs, the stats i have quoted about jobs is from BMS, bharath mazdoor sangh.
So you mean to say all real estate across India is ruled by black money, all those who do construction are having black money.
So who is having white money then ??
    Yeddy, Eshwarrapa, Reddy’s, Kattasubramanya ??
yes All those who take part in daily life transactions pay tax, 3 corer is only income tax, which is paid against their income, so all other taxes are paid by common people as well, like earlier VAT now GST.
