Mysuru: Actress Malavika Avinash was sitting in the front row at the State BJP meet. Speaking to Star of Mysore, she said, “I came early and sat here as I did not want to create any confusion. I am sorry that I am not able to get up as I have fractured my leg.”
Asked where it had happened, she replied, “I had gone to Coorg for a holiday. I always walk very fast and it was one of my unlucky days where I twisted my leg. I am in a plaster and not able to get up.” Prodded for her reaction about contesting the 2018 Assembly election from K.R. Constituency in Mysuru, she said, “Now is not the time to talk about it. I will definitely talk later.”
When this question about Malavika was posed to former Minister S.A. Ramdas, a ticket aspirant from KR, he just dismissed it by saying that they were mere rumours.
Is she a Nithyananda fan?
The entire BJP unit of Karnataka must be cleansed of Yeddyurappa and Eshwarappa factions. A Senior Sangh Paracharak without any personal agenda must be given the rein of the party. Only persons with impeccable character must be given tickets to contest the poll.
