Mallikarjunappa (Kashi), who was serving as the Head Cook of the Boys Hostel at Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE), Mysuru and a resident of Bommanahalli in Gundlupet taluk, passed away following a heart attack on Sunday. He was 57.

He leaves behind his mother Mahadevamma, children Prasanna and Rakshitha and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at the family’s farm land at Bommanahalli yesterday, according to family sources.
