Mysuru: A 67-year old pedestrian who was being treated for injuries he sustained in a road mishap that took place on Nov. 25, succumbed to his injuries at a city hospital late on Friday night. Krishnappa (67) of Basavanapura village in Malavalli taluk is the deceased.

Krishnappa was walking towards his agricultural farm near Basavanapura on the afternoon of Nov. 25, when he was knocked down by a speeding Maruti Omni van. Krishnappa, who sustained severe injuries, was rushed to a city hospital, where he breathed his last late last night.

Malavalli Rural Police have registered a case in this regard.
