Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) has welcomed the Railways initiative to introduce a special express trains service between Mysuru and Jodhpur in Rajasthan.

In a press release, MCCI President  Dr. K.B. Lingaraju, who is also a Member of Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee (ZRUCC), South Western Railway (SWR), Hubballi, has complimented the Railways for the introduction of Mysuru-Jodhpur special train.

“This decision of the Railways has been welcomed as it will greatly benefit the development of Mysuru city and improve travel convenience for passengers. The demand for such a train service had been consistently raised by Members of the MCCI and Railway Advisory Committees for long. Responding to the demand, the Railway authorities have now taken a positive step by approving this special express train service,” Lingaraju said while expressing his gratitude to the concerned officials for their support and efforts in making this initiative a reality.

The MCCI further said, it remains committed to co-operating with the Railway authorities in all its future initiatives aimed at growth and development of Mysuru city.
