Bengaluru: A comprehensive project report on the proposed Mekedatu Reservoir, aimed to be an alternative to KRS Reservoir, will be ready in a fortnight.

Disclosing this to press persons here yesterday, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs T.B. Jayachandra said that the report was being readied by Cauvery Neeravari Nigama (CNN) which will be submitted to the Department of Water Resources, Union Government, for seeking approval. He added that the Centre has to provide information on the new project to Tamil Nadu Government also which had objected to the project.
