Mysore Open Forum (MOF) has organised a talk on ‘Constitution: Threats & Response’ by Prof. M. Umapathy,  retired Political Science Professor, University of Mysore (UoM), at 10.30 am on Nov. 24 at Kalpa Kshetra Auditorium, 581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 1st Phase, Mysuru [Mob: 94498-19536]. Prof. M. Umapathy holds a Post-Doctoral D.Litt. degree in Political Science. He has 55 years of academic experience and specialises in Indian Politics, Public Administration, especially Development Administration.

Apart from Mysore University, his services have been utilised by UPSC, PSC, Administrative Training Institutions, IDS, ISEC and many Universities. He has been on the Editorial Boards of many Journals and has been Life Member and office-bearer of many Associations. He has authored four books — 1) Development Debate: The Missing Questions; 2) Development Administration: Super or Sub-discipline?; 3) History of Local Self-Government in Rural Karnataka; 4) Osama Bin Laden, Terrorism and Al Quida — and nearly 100 Research Papers and Articles. The talk is open to all.
