More on missing rear number plates

August 1, 2022

Sir,

I fully concur with the views expressed by Chandrahas in this column recently. I too observe that auto drivers on the pretext of taking left turn jump signals. Many autos in city plying near Ring Roads neither have tail lamps nor number plates. Seldom drivers wear uniform and courtesy is totally missing.

Also many trucks that ply on Ring Roads do not have tail lamps and number plates will be invisible. Even I have observed 2-wheelers, especially bikes that do not have number plates.

Traffic Police need to check on bylanes to trap these offenders.
