Mysuru: Bharatiya Jain Sangathan (BJS) Mysore, celebrated Mothers’ Day in city recently.

Mysore Ladies Wing Chairperson Sharmila Dhoka gave a brief introduction on mother and said, “There is no power in front of the power of a mother. Matrutva has the power of Shakti and Bhakti as Matha Marudevi, who gave birth to our first Thirthankar,  enlightened Jainism.”

Secretary Deepak Bohra, who also spoke said, “When you are surrounded with the blessings of a mother, the world is with you. The word ‘maa’ itself means the whole world to you, not only your kid is protected but the whole world has her blessings.” A special discussion on being a mother was held on the occasion.

Project Director Seema Bohra proposed the vote of thanks. BJS Mysore Treasurer Manohar Sankala, Navratan Pitalita, Santosh Salecha, Anchal Deysariya and Anitha Gadhiya were present.
