Mysuru: A motorcyclist was killed when the two-wheeler he was riding collided with a lorry near Gurukarpura Gate on Mysuru-T. Narasipur Road yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as Ravikumar (24), a resident of Manjunathapura in city.

Ravikumar was returning to city after attending the last rites of a relative at M.C. Hundi in T. Narasipur taluk, when his motorcycle collided with an oncoming lorry. Ravikumar who sustained serious injuries, died enroute to K.R. Hospital, it is learnt. The jurisdictional Varuna Police have registered a case in this regard.
