MRC Chairman flags off ‘Ride For Rotary’ charity event

Mysuru/Mysore:  ‘Ride For Rotary’ — a charity event conceived by Rotary District 3181 — was flagged off by Mysore Race Club (MRC) Chairman Dr. N. Nithyanand Rao at Hotel Southern Star in city this morning.

As part of the bike ride, Rotarians from across the world come together for ten exhilarating days, traverse through the meticulously arranged routes, enjoy the natural beauty of the places and experience the varied cultures and cuisines of the regions through which they transit. 

Around 40 participants from 14 different countries are congregating in South India  for the fourth edition of ‘Ride For Rotary’ being held from Jan.17 to 29. The convoy will reach Kochi on Jan. 28 and will be staying at Bolgatty Palace and Island Resort. 

Rotary District Governor Rtn.  Joseph Mathew, Chairman Rtn. Y.S. Raghavendra, Treasurer Rtn. B.M. Prakash and others were present at the flagging off ceremony.
